More pictures from Austria..

Tommaso "Spuerman" is ready to go

Well, we went "aking" down, after we just had typical Austrian food in a restaurant-hut up in the mountains. It was dark, and cold and the moon was up. BEAUTIFUL!

Me and Fabi used our time to really enjoy the trip down. OKAY, we're afraid of speed!!! But we had a great time and didn't die...

For new years Eve we sent skiing near by and after we had a great dinner with raqlette? Raclette? Racklette? You can CHOOSA! It was good anyways.

Me and Ricarda all dressed up for New Years Eve..!

  • Yes, it is spelled raclette. It looks like you had a lot of meat things on top of the grill, what did you have in the little pans underneath? Did the Austrians have it with proper raclette cheese on potatoes with little guerkins and pickled onions and freshly ground pepper and so? This is such a nice meal! And funny how the Austrians and Germans all have it either on Xmas or New Year Eve...

  • Funny thing, because when i celebrated New Years Eve in Germany in 2001 the germans also had it. We had all kinds of vegetables and stuff on it. And there was only one austrian there so the germans was dominating...:) Who are you by the way...? Do i know you?

  • Ah, then it was the German influence, definitely. So maybe the Austrians don't really have it for NYE themselves....

Me? I just stumbled by accident over your blog and read a few pages. And this page looked like I should comment (because I love raclette :)

I like all those Norwegian special characters with the little circles and the crossed out o, I wish I could speak this language...

    Anyway, bye for now!
